Fall Retreat 10/9/09-10/11/09

This year’s Fall Retreat is going to be a blast! Imagine getting away from campus for a few days with a hundred of your new closest friends for a great time of connecting with God through His Word, worship, nature, and your friends. There will be a high ropes course, lots of free time, a bon fire, boating, sports competitions, and a lot more!

Christmas Conference 12/27/09-1/1/10

Imagine worshiping Jesus with nearly 2,500 other college students. Imagine taking food and blankets to the poor and needy of downtown Indianapolis. Imagine the biggest New Years Eve Party you can possibly think of. Add to all of that amazing Bible teaching, seminars on how to connect deeply with God, and getting further equipped to help reach your friends with the hope offered from God. That is what Christmas Conference is all about!

Spring Break

What are you doing this Spring Break? How about a vacation with a purpose How about not just wasting time or spending time on break, but investing your Spring Break in things that really matter.

CRU is offering three Spring Break options this year.

  1. BIG BREAK… Travel down to Florida with your friends from CRU to enjoy the beach and to be trained in how to talk with others about the message of Christianity. Details to come.

  2. Inner City Impact… Head to the heart of Chicago to work with the poor and destitute. Tutor inner city kids and encourage them to reach their social, educational, and spiritual potential. Take food and clothing to those in need. Details to come.

  3. New Zealand… Hey, you're in college, why not fly half way around the world and meet people your parents only dreamed meeting while in college. This is our second year traveling to the beautiful country of New Zealand where we will engage students in conversations about what it means to be a follower of Christ as well as help the CRU movement at the University of Victoria as they are seeking to reach their campus with the message and of love of Jesus Christ.

Relief Trips

Looking to make a real difference in the lives of those who have been struck by tragedy? Cru is continually seeking to help the helpless and to come along side those in need. In past Cru students have traveled to ground zero in the wake of the September 11th tragedy, road tripped down to New Orleans to assist in the rebuilding of a community torn by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and have even flown across the world to help Tsunami victims. There is no limit to where we will go and there is no reason not to go. As needs arise, we will be the first to respond. Be a part of making a difference.

We tentatively have a trip for November down to New Orleans. Come to Cru for Details.
